Description

This module engages through lectures, seminars, tutorials and fieldwork with urban issues and the history of cities. It deals both with traditional definitions of cities and their analytical and representational tools as well as with alternative narratives and representations of cities. Focus point are the presentation and discussion of city case studies including Berlin, Buenos Aires, Glasgow, Istanbul, Lagos, Las Vegas, Paris, Rome, Shanghai, Sheffield, Tokyo.
